As Carl Ray talks with Tommy his personality changes by him telling Tommy what  happens after the funeral and how he goes to heaven.

2. Who is Mr. Biggers? How does he become a part of Carl Ray’s life?

Mr Biggers is a lawyer, he will change Carl Ray’s life because he wants to give Carl Ray Money.

In the beginning Mr. Furtz dies and is a very tragic moment. A little bit later the Finneys go to view Mr.Furtzat the DiMaggioes viewing house. Then a day later he was burried and all the kids had nightmares and couldn’t sleep. The next day Mary Lou gotbored and rummaged through the attic and found her dad’s ice skates and a yearbook. After they decided to go to the pool andmet up with Alex Cheevey. It is fourth of July and the family went to a park to have a picnic , the kids climbed trees and went to windy rock. Then everyone went to the pool. The next evening Carl Ray received a phone call from Mr. Biggers concerning that he must go to court.

In the group so far we have been working together greatly and we have talked about the book in detail. In the future we’ll probably be doing the same things we are doing now. Our jobs affect most of the group, in the future our jobs may let us look at the book in a different way and understand it better.

1. Describe Beth Ann’s new behavior. How does Mary Lou feel about it?

Beth Ann is acting very strange, She starts using words like divine and wonderful about her new boyfriend. Mary Lou thinks that her acting this way will affect their freindship.

2. How does Mary Lou react when Mr. Furtz dies?

Mary Lou is astonished by the death of Mr. Furtz because he was a strong healthy looking man.

Reading these chapters made me think that in the future Mary Lou will go out with Alex Cheevey because Maggie saw him at the party and he was asking for her.Also Carl Ray won’t not much appreciate his job because when Mary Lou’s parents ask him about his job he just shrugs and says “Emph.” Lastly I think the Furtzes won’t take the death of thier father very well because he was so healthy.
