Tangerine By: Edward Bloor

If were to make a movie of “Tangerine” the backround music would be slow and creeping as they’re driving from Houston to Florida nonstop. The music would also be sad because Paul is not feeling very well about moving. I would also make the music not so much scary but exciting scary because when Paul realized that he smelled smoke he and his mom went searching through out the house looking for heat in the walls. The overall music would be simple soft rock with no singers.

The safe exposure limit for noise is 85 decibels for eight hours a day. Every time the volume level increases by three decibels, the safe exposure time drops by half.

1. Why would a car stereo be used in for the snapshot?

A car stereo would be used because people blast their stereoes very loud with much volume.

2. Why is the “100″ more to the left than the numbers above it?

The 100 is more to the left because it doesn’t have as many decibles as the others which is not as loud.

3. Why are the lines wavy? What does it represent?

The lines are wavy because they are waves trveling from one place to another, they represent sound waves traveling from the speaker to the ear.

4. What is the purpose of the ear on the right?

Do you need to know what a decible is in order to understand theis snapshot? Explain your answer.
